My Story - Tony Ellsworth

I grew up in Taylor, Arizona, a small farming and ranching community in Northeastern Arizona. My father was a home builder in the area and I grew up helping him on his job sites, mainly cleaning, hauling lumber, shoveling dirt etc. As I grew older I helped him with pouring concrete, framing, roofing, siding, electrical wiring, plumbing and basically everything that had to do with building a home. Back in the day, the contractor and his employees built the entire house. This gave me a good foundation in the custom home building business.

In high school, I took a mechanical design class that sparked my interest. I continued taking architectural design and drafting throughout high school and eventually started drawing house plans for my dad and brother. As the word spread I began drawing house plans for other people who were looking to build new and remodel homes and who needed a set of custom house plans.

After serving a 2-year church mission in Japan I decided to study Information Technology at the University of Phoenix. After Graduation, I worked for several companies in the construction field doing estimating, design, and IT work. I eventually began working in the field running jobs for custom home builders and commercial builders.

In 2015 I decided to move back to Taylor to be closer to family and eventually started my own business building custom homes. I love what I do and am committed to building the highest quality custom homes in the area.
